I am a professional visual designer with over 5 years of experience in the field. This experience has led me to concentrate my efforts in identity, web and print design.
{2000-2003}
I earned an Associate’s in Marketing Management and began my career in the marketing industry. I had the opportunity to work for a software development company in South Florida as their marketing coordinator. There I developed key marketing strategies and participated in the creation of design, concept and production of print and digital media for marketing and advertising.
{2004-2005}
This experience opened in me the desire to go further into visual communications. I enrolled in school while working full time as an Advertising Artist at the Palm Beach Post, a local newspaper in West Palm Beach, Florida. A few months later, I won the 2004 CPF (Community Papers of Florida) Award for the black and white ad for Brimoca.
{2007} I continued my educational efforts and in 2007 earned a Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design and Technology (Cum Laude). During this period, I was also working as a freelance graphic designer. Doing freelance work helped me enhance my school experience and solidify my passion in the field of graphic design. I was able to work with local schools and small businesses in the development of their respective branding and identity.
